Election May 17th
Nominations closed at 5PM on May 13, 2024 for the Alief TSTA Board Of Directors Positions which were up for elections.
We have 2 positions that received one nomination each, therefore they are declared winners by acclamation.
Rhonda Whiting will hold the position of Vice-President for a 3-year term.
Arshunda Washington will hold the position of Treasurer for a 3-year term.
There were no candidates for the Elementary Area Director which the Alief TSTA Board of Directors will look to fill by a vote of placement.
We will have an election for the position of Intermediate/Middle School Area Director. The candidates are:
Angela Proby - Olle Middle School
Angela Orobor - Killough Middle School

It’s that time again for Alief TSTA to hold elections for delegates that will attend the Regional House of Delegates, TSTA House of Delegates, and Delegates for the NEA Representative Assembly. You get a chance to have input on the policies, procedures, and activities of TSTA and NEA.
Click on the link below for more information that describes the HOD’s and the duties of the delegates, as well as a self-nomination form. Please reply by January 16th, 2024, 6:00 PM. ATSTA is working to ensure that you have little to no out of pocket expenses, and will be excused from any of your school day activities on the 19th of April if you are elected to represent ATSTA at the State HOD.

Reginal HOD (23 Delegates)
February 24, 2023, Location TBA
TSTA HOD (11 Delegates)
April 19029, 2023, Frisco Texas - Embassy Suites.
NEA Representative Assembly (4 Delegates)
July 3-7, 2023, in Philadelphia, PA.
